Are “colon cleanses” potentially dangerous to one’s health?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: health colon cleanse

if so, WHY?
or why not?

personally, i don’t like colon cleanses unless you are going to have an operation regarding your colon. First, it makes you poo alot. Then, you’ll get dehydrated. Then, you won’t be able to absorb as much nutrients as you should while ‘cleansing’. Plus, there’s really no way to purge everything out of a 5- foot long colon. Also, all the garbage initially comes from a 23-foot long small intestines. So, why bother cleaning something that can’t be cleaned? There are very good reasons for the numerous bacteria in the colon anyway. Those bacteria actually produce Vit K, which your blood needs for clotting. Then, they help in degrading the food that we eat. Some body toxins also get dumped in the colon. This is a continuous process, even when you’re asleep.

I know some one that did it, its a nasty process to go threw but he said it worked and didn't kill him. I would suggest you get all organic products, and make sure you use grade B syrup, the kind you put on pancakes wont work. pick up the original book about this, I believe its called "the master cleanser or something like that, I have it at home, at work now.

I'm thin and don't need to lose weight, but I do have a mid-section and heard that colon cleansing can make your stomach flatter. Is it ok health wise also?

It's healthy to have a colon cleanse, but it will NOT help you lose any weight whatsover.

Anyone ever use a colon cleanse or parasite cleanse?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: health colon cleanse

Can anyone give advise on parasites that people can get? Have you ever used one of those colon cleanses that are either advertised on t.v. or sold in health and vitamin stores? Would you advise being tested for parasites by a doctor and then using a medication or are the herbal remedies just as effective? I have had a lot of strange but subtle health issues lately and the doctor can find nothing wrong with me. I am just wondering if there is anything to this colon cleansing stuff and if it is worth doing.

T.I.D. Health, Micro Defense from Pure Incapsulations. 1 morning and late afternoon on empty stomach. Take for 2 to 3 months. Call 1-800-824-2439 Its around 25 dollars.

You have to have it recommended by a health practitioner, To get the kind of discount they offer to their clients, so in order for you to order it, you must have the health care practitioners ID number and name.

Have any one ever use colon cleasne products and liver cleanse products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: health colon cleanse

If you have did they work for you. After taking these supplements did you get more energy and feel better. Did it help you go to the bathroom more often.

I am just wondering because I have just started taking a colon cleanse supplement, a liver cleanse supplement and a daily once a day woman vitamin and vitamin c. And it seems to be helping me. I feel better and not all sluggish, I have energy. I feel like my overall health is improving.

I have done both types of cleanses. i used oxy powder and livatrex. I started using the products three years ago and still continue using them today. by cleansing my liver i was able to help my metabolism and in turn lost allot of weight in the process along with changes in my diet and exercise. I also was able to get over the hump of depression with in turn gave me the motivation i needed to follow through with my new found lifestyle. a good book to read is health begins in the colon. in case you are wondering how much weight i lost i started at 265 and now am at 145.

Have you ever had a colon cleanse? Did it help u? Did U experience anything unusual?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: health colon cleanse

Yeah, I have this stuff [Health Plus, inc. colon cleanse], forgot about it , lol, as it expired, but reinspired me to really consider doing one of these treatments…..it says it's 100% pure psyllium husk, fiber
Did you ever use this or something else? Did anything weird happen?

Psyllium Husk is perfectly safe fiber. A colon cleanse every three or four months is very good for you. I have done cleanses using various supplements as well as Psyllium Husk. You will feel more energy after you do this and your colon can better assimilate nutrients if it isn't clogged or caked.

What's the deal with getting a colon cleanse? Would it be worth the money or is just a fad?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: health colon cleanse

I heard that the average person has anywhere from 5 to 15 pounds of fecal matter build up inside their colon! (YUCK) and that a colon cleansing can get rid of that. Is that true or just junk science?

Also, if a colon cleansing is worth the money, do you have to go to a doctor to get one done or can you buy something at a drug store or health food store and do it yourself?

Thanks for any help and / or advice.

As I understand it (not that I've had it done or anything) it is more than just a fad. It is meant to be VERY good at getting rid of toxins which will make your body much more vibrant and healthy, better digestion, better skin, better flow (blood and waste), you should feel less sluggish and more 'on the go'.

However it is expensive and it only really has long term benefits if you get colonic cleansing on a regular basis - like once a year.

I am a little shy of it but if I had more money and knew I could keep up the annual payments then I would try it as I believe it to be very beneficial.

Where to get it done? I'm not sure - I think most beauty salons would do it. Perhaps some private doctors/health clinics too? I don't know how to advise where you find out the best one in your area. Google's always good but as for reviews? Who knows?

Good luck!

Looking for a good colon cleanse?

I hear colon cleansing has very good health benefits. Does anyone have any information?

A "good" colon cleanse?? No such thing.

No health benefits. Potentially dangerous. Pure quackery.
